The event takes place at a Western Sydney University campus and begins with a local elder delivering a Welcome to Country. The students then meet their guides for the day - Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander university students who are studying health-related degrees.

Students then attend a whole of group session that includes guest speakers from NSW Health explaining their roles and duties. Guest speakers also discuss their journeys to their chosen careers.

Groups of students then rotate through four workshops.

Parents and carers of invited students are very welcome to attend the event and should indicate they'll be attending on the permission form sent by the school prior to each event.
